The iGnosi application (INPI BR512024001850-6) and the Samantha artificial intelligence system are part of a research project developed during the master’s degree of Elias Souza Ribeiro, under the supervision of Dr. Carlos Eduardo Batista de Sousa. The project investigates how different attentional models—focused, sustained, alternating, and divided attention—shape and influence the learning process.
To support this investigation, a dedicated Android-based application was developed to assess all four attentional models using only a tablet. Beyond computing scores and generating standardized results for qualitative analysis, iGnosi is integrated with the LLM-based AI system Samantha, which provides insight generation and predictive analysis. This combination allows teachers, parents, and researchers to explore attentional data in a more accessible and informative way.
Cost-effective – More affordable than traditional psychometric tools.
User-friendly – Designed so non-technical users can easily interact with the AI.
Portable – Requires only a single tablet for administration.
Fast – Full assessment takes, on average, 10 to 12 minutes, depending on user performance.
